These terms cover browsing this site, placing an order and what happens if something goes wrong. By ordering you accept them.
You are welcome to browse, compare and link to these pages. Automated copying of listings, images or text is not permitted, and we reserve the right to limit access where traffic is disruptive. We may update pages, prices and availability at any time.
Placing an order creates a request rather than a completed contract; the contract forms when we send the dispatch notice. It is accepted when we confirm dispatch, not when the confirmation page appears.
All prices are in US dollars and include no hidden handling fee. Card payments are authorised when the order is placed and captured at dispatch. Where a listing carried the wrong price we will always ask before proceeding.
We describe items as accurately as we can, including what they are made of. Small variation in finish and dye lot is normal in small-batch production. If an item is not as described, the returns policy applies and return postage is on us.
We are responsible for delivering what you ordered and for replacing or refunding it if we do not. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control, though we will chase them on your behalf.
We revise these terms from time to time, and the revision in force at the moment of your order is the one that governs it. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page rather than applied silently.
Responsibility for the parcel passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us, or when the carrier records a delivery such as a signed handover or a safe-place drop you asked for. Once the carrier has recorded delivery — to you, to a neighbour you nominated, or to the safe place you specified — the risk moves to you, which is why we ask for an address where someone can receive it.
The goods belong to you once the full amount has cleared. Where a payment is reversed after dispatch we are entitled to ask for the items to be returned or the value repaid.
An account is optional — you can order as a guest. If you create one, keep the password to yourself, because activity under your credentials is treated as yours until you tell us they have been compromised.
Please do not copy the catalogue in bulk, resell our photographs, probe the checkout for weaknesses, or place orders you have no intention of paying for. Where we see it, we stop it.
You are free to link to us and to quote briefly with attribution. Republishing a listing in full, or using our images in another shop, is not covered by that and needs written permission.
Orders can be cancelled up to the moment they leave the warehouse. Once a parcel is on its way, the thirty-day return window takes over.
Tell us what happened and we will tell you what we are going to do about it. If the first reply does not resolve it, say so and we will escalate it internally and come back with a decision rather than another holding message.
Everything we send goes to the email you used at checkout, so please keep it up to date. Write to the address in the footer for anything formal, and allow one business day for a reply.
