This policy explains what personal information we hold when you shop with us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you place an order we collect the details needed to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address and, where the courier requires it, a telephone number. If you create an account or join the newsletter we also hold the email address you gave us. We do not ask for information we have no use for.
We use your information to complete the order you placed, to answer messages you send us, and to keep records we are required to keep. Email addresses are used for order updates and, only if you opted in, occasional newsletters. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
The site sets a small number of cookies: one to remember your cart, one to remember whether you have already answered the cookie banner, and basic analytics to count visits. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings, and declining the banner does not stop you ordering.
We share the minimum necessary with the companies that make an order happen — payment processing, delivery and transactional email. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own interface and never reach our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.
We keep order records only as long as we must for tax and accounting, and delete the rest. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete anything that is not part of a required record. Requests sent to our contact address are handled within one business week.
Write to our contact address and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, normally within a week. If something is wrong — a misspelled street, an address you have moved from — tell us and we will correct it. There is no charge for a first request, and you do not need an account to make one — the order number from a confirmation email is enough for us to find you.
You can ask us to delete your details, and we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to keep for tax purposes. You can also object to marketing at any time, which stops the emails immediately and leaves your order history untouched. Unsubscribing from the newsletter never affects an order already placed.
We do not make automated decisions that affect your order. The only check of that kind is basic payment screening, and any block it raises is reviewed by a person who can reverse it — ask us and we will explain the reason in plain terms.
Orders are shipped worldwide, so a delivery address may be shared with a courier in another country. That transfer is limited to the address and contact details the carrier needs to complete the delivery, and nothing else travels with it.
Our products are sold to adults, and we do not ask for or knowingly keep information about children. If you think a minor has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them without argument.
When this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the top moves with it. If it is revised, the revision appears here rather than in a separate notice, and orders already placed continue to be handled under the policy that applied when they were made.
Questions about privacy go to the address in the footer and are answered by a person, not a ticket queue. If you are not satisfied with our answer, say so in the same thread and it will be looked at again.
